Senior/Staff Product Engineer
The Role
We're looking for a driven and pragmatic product engineer, who cares about user experience and has experience of scaling consumer applications - in particular ensuring a consistently great experience for our patients regardless of what device they're on.
What You'll Do
Your day-to-day work will be impactful and varied, including:
Building new product features (full-stack, with frontend focus)
Designing non-functional app features (e.g. offline support, improving observability)
Contributing to technical roadmap planning
Working with product/UX to iterate on the app design and requirements
Participating in bug triage/diagnosis and incident investigations
Improving test coverage of the app (especially across a variety of user devices)
Making data driven decisions about app changes
You’ll collaborate closely with the rest of the engineering / UX team, work directly with company leadership, and see the impact of your work on real patients.
You'll also help us to mature our engineering processes as we grow, and mentor new team members.
About You
You've built and scaled consumer facing production web applications
You've maintained applications long term, and seen how early decisions play out as systems grow
You've developed and tested frontends for widespread use across a range of devices / browsers
You have strong programming skills (ideally in TypeScript / Python)
You enjoy working with design and product teams to help shape exceptional products
You care deeply about your users - championing great experience and access to quality clinical care
You take initiative and ownership of your work, and communicate clearly

Whilst not required, experience in any of these areas will definitely stand out - let us know if you have any!
